the hotel was located close enough to the centre of the medina, and meknes at 3.30am. we greatly enjoyed the standard family room which was huge with bathrooms the size of postage stamps. the property had a marvellous location in the heart of the town. lucky that it was a 10-15 minute walk from miam's food, offering food to go. we had the most such wonderful few days there.

The Riad Dar Alkatib was a delightful surprise during my stay in Meknes. The room was extremely spacious and beautifully decorated, creating a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. I particularly enjoyed the large size of the room, as it allowed me to comfortably work while staying there. The interior of the Riad was impressive, with intricate details and traditional Moroccan design elements that added to its charm.
Sadly, one minor drawback was that the room wasn't refreshed and made up despite us being out for several hours. However, this did not hamper the overall cleanliness of the Riad, as it was still well-maintained and very clean.

The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating during our stay. The breakfast they offered was a great way to start the day, with a variety of options available. the location was perfect for exploring the city, with many scenic spots and cultural attractions within walking distance.
While the location was great for exploring, the noise levels were quite high at night and could be disruptive to anyone trying to sleep early. the rooms could use a bit of updating and maintenance as some areas were showing signs of wear and tear.

One of the best aspects was the beautiful rooftop terrace, which offered stunning views of the city and was the perfect spot to relax and unwind after a day of sightseeing.
The noise level in the area. Because of the central location, there was some street noise that could be heard in the rooms.
